Terms and Conditions

This website, www.headstreams.org, is run by Headstreams, a society registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960, with its office at Headstreams Training Centre, Bengaluru 560038, Karnataka, India. By using this website or making a donation through it, you agree to these terms.

Donations

• Every donation is voluntary. It is used for Headstreams' charitable work, where it is needed most, unless we agree otherwise with you in writing.
• Online payments are handled by Razorpay. Headstreams does not see or store your card, UPI or bank account details.
• Donations from Indian taxpayers are eligible for deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act (80G registration AAAAH3308KF20214). To issue your tax certificate and report your gift to the Income Tax Department, as the law requires, we need your full name, address and PAN.
• Online donations on this website are accepted only from resident Indian nationals. Headstreams is registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA No. 094421506), and gifts from foreign sources must reach a separate bank account. If you are not a resident Indian national, or are giving on behalf of a foreign organisation, please write to us at [email protected] before giving.
• You confirm that the money you give is your own, or that you are authorised to give it, and comes from lawful sources.

Recurring donations

• If you choose to give regularly, you authorise Headstreams, through Razorpay, to take the amount you choose from your card, UPI account or bank account at the frequency you choose (for example monthly or quarterly), until the end date you choose or until you cancel.
• You set this up once, by approving a mandate with your bank or UPI app. Your bank or UPI app may notify you before each payment.
• You can cancel at any time. See our Cancellation and Refund Policy for how.
• If a payment fails, we or Razorpay may try again. We will not charge you any extra fee for a failed payment.

Using this website

• The text, photos, films and logo on this website belong to Headstreams or to the people who made them. You may share them with credit to Headstreams, but please ask us before using them for anything else.
• We work hard to keep the information on this website correct, but we cannot promise that it is always complete or up to date.
• Links to other websites are given for your convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Changes do not affect donations already made.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
